Chelsea has agreed a deal with Shakhtar Donetsk to sign Mykhailo Mudryk.
To speak with Shakhtar Donetsk face-to-face, representatives of Chelsea, including director of global talent and transfers Paul Winstanley and a senior board member, traveled to Turkey, where the Ukrainian club is holding a training camp.
What are the contact details?
Following the quick agreement between the teams, all of the specifics of Mudryk’s move to Chelsea, have now been made public.
A deal has been reached on a set fee of €70 million (£62 million), plus an additional €30 million (£26.5 million) in add-ons. The Athletic claim Mudryk will sign 7 year deal until 2030.
According to numerous sources, Mudryk would depart from Shakhtar’s training facility on Saturday and arrive in the UK on Saturday night. There, he would finalize his agreement with Chelsea and pass a medical examination before signing his contract.

Chelsea hijacked Arsenal’s move for a winger
Arsenal had hoped that adding Mudryk would help their title defense. Still, Chelsea has acted quickly to overtake their London rivals.
Arsenal has long been interested in Mudryk, but after making three offers—the most recent of which was earlier this week—it could not match Shakhtar’s asking price.
The fact that Mudryk has made it plain that he wants to join Arsenal has not deterred the residents of west London. Arsenal has been optimistic that it will eventually pay £80 million to acquire Mudryk.
Mudryk has always been more interested in joining the Premier League’s top team. Still, Chelsea’s ‘increasing interest’ in the Ukrainian has made them believe he would be willing to sign with the Blues.

Where does Arsenal turn now?
The Gunners have choices, including signing Raphinha in the summer, who Barcelona reportedly made available for transfer this month.
Kaoru Mitoma of Brighton is well-liked at Arsenal. Arteta witnessed the Japanese international’s talent on New Year’s Eve. However, he is too young to be an Arteta signing. Another option is Leandro Trossard, Mitoma’s teammate, who will leave the Seagulls this month.
The predicament was comparable to the striker shortage in January 2022. The Gunners chose to recruit Gabriel Jesus in the summer instead of bringing in a center-forward last winter. Still, this decision cost them in the short term as a top-four spot slipped from their grip.
