Real Madrid has confirmed the signing of Endrick from the Brazilian team Palmeiras.
The Brazilian teenager will sign with Los Blancos in the summer of 2024, when he will be 18 and eligible to join the Madrid team.
Endrick will follow in the footsteps of his countrymen Vinicius and Rodrygo, who also joined the Spanish giants in Brazil as adolescents.
The operation’s investment will be similar, consisting of €35 million, which could increase to €60 million based on goal-related variables.
PSG, Chelsea, and Barcelona were rivals of Real Madrid in the battle to sign the budding star.

Who is Endrick – A new signing considered as talented as Neymar
According to reports, Real Madrid will pay Palmeiras €60 million plus taxes, bringing the total transfer amount to €72 million. The deal will now go down in history as the most expensive U18 transfer ever after discussions were completed and a contract was signed.
What makes Endrick unique, then?
“Brazil’s biggest prospect since Neymar,” according to Brazilian football analyst Filippo Silva. “The player Endrick is significantly different from Neymar, though. He pushes a big man at 16 and is quite strong in front of the goal.”
In seven Série A outings for Palmeiras this year, the teenager has three goals and one assist. Additionally, Endrick was the highlight of this year’s Copinha, a youth competition hosted in the So Paulo area.
Endrick scored six goals in seven games while taking against opponents who were, on average, four to five years older.
He made his senior team debut a few months ago after his efforts with the junior setup attracted attention.
Silva acknowledges that Endrick plays his own ways, although he draws analogies to legendary Brazilian players Romario and Adriano.
“He has a left foot, like them,” Silva stated. “Then there is his inherent power, which we also witnessed in Adriano and Romario.”
Real Madrid has also drawn comparisons, and with Karim Benzema approaching their mid-thirties, Los Blancos have found the ideal No. 9 to replace the French striker.
More expensive than Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr and Wayne Rooney 🤯

Why Endrick can’t join Real Madrid until 2024?
Due to FIFA rules, Endrick cannot wear a Real Madrid jersey for the next 18 months because he must wait until he is 18 to move to Madrid legally.
FIFA implemented strict transfer laws preventing minors from playing abroad due to player abuse. European players, however, can move within the EU as minors.
Endrick must follow the rules and wait his turn before donning a Madrid uniform.
