Before the transfer window, the summer’s drama ended in May. When Kylian Mbappe rejected Real Madrid and signed a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain through 2025, the world was astonished.
But less than five months later, that saga is again making news. According to Marca, the club’s relationship with Mbappe was shattered on Tuesday afternoon.
They claim that Mbappe is unhappy at PSG because he hadn’t experienced enough of the change he was promised when he signed his deal.
His position is a significant concern. Like how he plays for France with Olivier Giroud, Mbappe wants to play off a focal point in the attack. He has so far been positioned behind Lionel Messi and Neymar Junior as the central striker.
He appeared eager for another central defender to arrive at Parc des Princes, but no such defender showed up.
Last but not least, his relationship with co-star Neymar is, to put it mildly, problematic. Their on-field arguments regarding penalties have amply demonstrated their lack of comprehension this season.
According to ESPN, Mbappe will try to force his way out of France in January because he wants to leave as soon as possible. His final destination, nevertheless, is unknown.

Campos: Mbappe never asked to leave
Reports that Kylian Mbappe is dissatisfied in Paris have been “categorically denied” by Luis Campos, the sporting director of Paris Saint-Germain.
“It’s a categorical denial on our part,” he said, according to RMC Sport.
“You need to inquire about his level of happiness. It’s a very private matter. I observe Kylian at work. A truly exceptional professional. For instance, he gave his team his best effort in the most recent game in Reims.”
“Every day I see Kylian arrive with his teammates, joyful and extremely motivated to work. I’m shocked since I work with Kylian Mbappe every day and he never asked to leave in January; I just asked the president about it.”
“I don’t think he thinks about it because if he did, he would tell me,” Campos said.
“Never did he tell me. I am aware that he has never informed the president of his desire to go in January. It comes out a few hours before a very, very critical match for us. Still, it’s information, not a statement, so be very clear.”
“I’m here because it’s important for me to address the media. When three of the top five players in the world are involved, rumours are certain to surface. It is common to hear rumours.”

Christophe Galtier dismisses Mbappe exit rumors
Christophe Galtier, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, has denied rumors that Kylian Mbappe is unhappy and wants to leave the team.
After Les Parisiens’ 1-1 UEFA Champions League draw, Galtier commented to RMC Sport (via GFFN): “A lot was said about him this afternoon. I have not discussed it with him. The goal is to keep your attention on the game. He generously gave tonight. He demonstrated his skill as a player and his dedication to the contest and the game.”
“Everyone was focused on the goal and the game. A statement develops from a piece of news and a rumour, respectively. That is very unexpected, especially so close to an important match.”
