Let’s see some of the transfer and contract news around the football world.
Antonio Conte puts his Spurs’ future on hold
Antonio Conte, the head coach of Tottenham, has placed his future at the club on hold. Still, it is expected that he will leave at the end of the current campaign, according to Sky in Italy.
On June 30, the Italian’s contract will expire; however, Spurs can extend it by another year.
According to Sky in Italy, the club has already offered him a new contract. Still, the 53-year-old has requested that Spurs put the matter on hold since no contract negotiations are presently taking place.
However, there is a “feeling” that Conte would ask the team to end his contract in the summer so he can return to Italy and be nearer to his family in the hopes of finding other chances.
Conte, who has a solid working relationship with the Spurs management, hasn’t asked to quit the team, though, and is entirely focused on the remainder of the season.
Gianluca Di Marzio, a reporter for Sky Italy, predicted that Antonio Conte’s tenure at Tottenham would end after the current campaign.
“This is partly because his contract is expiring, partly because he continues to send messages out to the club. They’ve understood that they aren’t made for each other. They aren’t right for each other.”

Declan Rice favoring move to Arsenal as West Ham exit nears
Declan Rice is considering signing for Arsenal this summer because he would be able to play for Mikel Arteta.
Rice has been identified as Arsenal’s top transfer target. They feel increasingly certain that they can get him before Chelsea.
The midfielder is eager to test himself in the Champions League. It is practically certain to leave West Ham, who are fighting for survival this season.
It has been anticipated that Rice, who was in Chelsea’s academy before being released at 14, may eventually join his old team. Rice is thought to be one of the finest defensive midfielders in Europe.
Still, Arteta is a major fan, and Arsenal is now the front-runner to sign him. Manchester United is anticipated to enter the competition for the 24-year-old as well.
West Ham will likely fetch more than £100 million for Rice, making him the most expensive player from the United Kingdom.
The England international’s contract, which has a further year option and continues until the summer of 2024, may require West Ham to accept a payment of almost £80 million.

Hakim Ziyech in talks over Roma transfer
AS Roma is in the process of negotiating to sign the Moroccan World Cup hero.
Ziyech has recently returned to Chelsea’s starting lineup, but he is concerned about his long-term future.
Before the World Cup in November, he had trouble earning a spot in manager Graham Potter’s team. He is now only seeing action as a result of injuries and newcomers.
Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic are both injured. At the same time, Mykhailo Mudryk, a wide receiver for Chelsea, was just acquired for £88 million.
Ziyech had his sights set on a move to Barcelona, but if it meant getting more playing time under Mourinho, he would prefer to go to Serie A.
