Let’s see some of the transfer news around the football world.
West Ham prepared to sell Declan Rice in the summer
Declan Rice won’t be signing a new deal with West Ham, so the club is prepared to sell in the summer despite interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.
The Athletic reports that the England international midfielder, who has already turned down three offers of new terms at the London Stadium, is prepared to pursue his ambition of playing in the Champions League.
Rice’s current contract has a 12-month extension option when it expires in 2024. The Hammers are rumored to have conceded that a sale will need to be approved to maximize value in any deal.
Although Rice, 23, won’t try to force the matter by submitting a transfer request, West Ham has no intention of letting him leave in January.
Rice, the captain of West Ham and winner of 39 senior England caps after spending time in the Blues’ youth, has been linked to Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City.

Jorginho expected to leave Chelsea in the summer
When his contract expires in the summer, Jorginho is anticipated to depart Chelsea because talks on a new agreement have stalled.
The midfielder, representing Italy at the international level, moved from Napoli to Chelsea in 2018.
Still, after four seasons in the Premier League, he is reportedly ready to move on as his contract expires. There won’t be a renewal, and it’s anticipated that he’ll leave the club.
The 31-year-old scored three goals in 19 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions in 2022–2023. With the Blues, Jorginho has won four titles, the most famous of which are the Champions League in 2021 and the Europa League in the 2018–19 season.
Following the departure of the Italian star, Graham Potter will start searching for a midfielder. Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund and Declan Rice of West Ham United are both targets for attention, including Chelsea.
The expectation is Jorginho will leave #Chelsea at the end of the season when his contract expires. N'Golo Kante's future 'remains in the balance'.

Lionel Messi and PSG reach a principal agreement to renew the contract
According to BBC Sport’s Guillem Balague, Lionel Messi has reached an “understanding in principle” to extend his contract with PSG.
Messi’s contract with the French club expires in June 2023.
The president of Barcelona, Joan Laporta, stated earlier this week that he “would love” for Messi to rejoin the Spanish team where he spent 21 years.
Balague claims that Barcelona has yet to speak to Messi about a comeback.
Following four months of negotiations between Messi’s father, Jorge, and PSG director of football, Luis Campos, he will sign a one-year contract with an additional year’s option.
A significant meeting with PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi followed that in Doha.
Expert in European football, Balague said that PSG has essentially agreed to everything. “Messi is pleased, and after he returns from his vacation, the agreement will move more quickly.”
“Therefore, Messi does not oppose his return to Barcelona. He or his father have yet to receive any contact from Barcelona regarding an offer. The query has yet to be put to him.”
“Everyone is having a good time, and his life in Paris is balanced and cheerful. He stands a good chance of repeating as Champions League champion. Additionally, it will support his bid to win the Ballon d’Or.”
Morocco star Ounahi insists he is undecided about his future amid transfer interests
After a successful World Cup campaign, Azzedine Ounahi has attracted interest from several elite teams. But he has not decided on his future with Angers.
With his tenacious and organized midfield performances, Ounahi significantly contributed to Morocco being the first African country to go to the World Cup semifinals.
Because of this, several elite teams, including Serie A’s top team Napoli, have expressed interest in signing the player. According to the president of Angers, the Ligue 1 club has already received bids from “major clubs.”
Ounahi remarked on the Angers website, “Today, we all know there are interested clubs. There will be a decision to be made, one that will be crucial for my career and, most importantly, one that must be the right one.”
“The outcome is yet unknown. Will I sign and depart in January? Will I join and support the team while I’m here, then depart this summer? I’m still determining.”
