Transfer talks: PL clubs interested in Moukoko, Vlahovic could leave Juventus and Man United to enquire about Goncalo Ramos

Let’s see some of the transfer news around the football world.

PL clubs interested in signing Dortmund’s Yousssoufa Moukoko

Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United, three powerhouses in the Premier League, are reportedly in the running to recruit Youssoufa Moukoko of Borussia Dortmund.

Since making his debut the day after turning 16 in November last year, Moukoko has already made 58 senior appearances for Dortmund in all competitions.

Sport Bild reports that Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United are expected to compete for the signature of the highly regarded kid.

According to the article, a proposal close to £26 million might be sufficient to wrest the forward away from Westfalenstadion.

Chelsea has contacted the player’s representatives to secure a bargain deal for the young star.

Borussia Dortmund hopes that Moukoko’s friendship with coach Edin Terzic will persuade the forward, whose contract expires in the summer, to sign a new one in December before the January transfer window opens.

Vlahovic is open to leaving Juventus in 2023

Dusan Vlahovic and his agents aren’t ruling out leaving Juventus in 2023, and Chelsea and Arsenal are reportedly among the suitors.

According to CBS Sports writer Ben Jacobs, Juve and Vlahovic are willing to part ways. Still, any departure could happen in the summer.

That is partially due to his history of injuries and a persistent groyne inflammation that hasn’t gone away.

As Juventus is being looked into by the FIGC, UEFA, and the public prosecutor in Turin on potential accounting irregularities, there may also be financial concerns.

The striker, who will turn 23 in a few months, was only signed by Fiorentina in January 2022 for €81.6 million plus another €10 million in possible bonuses.

This season, he has struggled with injury issues and expressed his displeasure with coach Max Allegri’s strategies openly.

In 15 competitive appearances for Juventus this season, the Serbian international has seven goals and two assists.

Manchester United to enquire about Goncalo Ramos

Although manager Erik ten Hag has been informed that a striker may not arrive in January, according to ESPN, Manchester United is poised to inquire about the availability of Benfica forward Goncalo Ramos.

United are looking to add a forward in the January window following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ramos is one of many players being tracked, along with Cody Gakpo, Rafael Leao, and Joao Felix. However, there is still a belief at Old Trafford that there are better courses of action than signing new players in January.

Before the season began, Benfica was evaluating offers of about €20 million. Still, Ramos’ value has increased significantly due to his hat trick for Portugal in their World Cup round of 16 matches against Switzerland. In 21 games for Benfica this season, he has scored 14 goals.

According to the ESPN article, there are substantial budgetary restrictions at Man United because of the COVID-19 outbreak and a greater than-anticipated transfer expenditure last summer.

Ten Hag, though, thinks that without Ronaldo, the team lacks firepower and wants the team to look at all of its options.
