Let’s see some of the transfer news around the football world.
Tottenham Hotspurs agrees deal to sign Pedro Porro
According to reports, Tottenham is set to sign Pedro Porro on a five-year contract after agreeing to deal with Sporting.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Porro is en route to London to have a medical before joining Antonio Conte’s team.
Although the transfer fee has not yet been disclosed, it is estimated to be around £40 million.
The 23-year-old was a Manchester City player for three years, although he spent that time on loan in Spain and at Sporting before deciding to depart last summer.
Tottenham’s options on the right flank are not quite up to par, and Conte frequently uses a lineup featuring wing-backs.
While Conte publicly criticised their choice, Matt Doherty, the fans have grown upset with Emerson Royal. Porro should be a quick improvement and work with Conte’s setup.
If everything goes according to plan, Porro might make his club debut on February 5 against Manchester City.

PSG agree on a free summer transfer for Skriniar
Milan Skriniar has signed a pre-contract with PSG and is set to join the club this summer, but PSG will reportedly try to secure his services early.
After signing a contract, the Inter centre-back is scheduled to join the Ligue 1 champions in June. But according to Fabrizio Romano, PSG would try to recruit Skriniar in January to persuade Inter to offload their top player soon.
Inter is holding out for a €20 million ($22 million/£17.5 million) offer and is hesitant to sell before the winter transfer window shuts.
According to reports, Skriniar and PSG reached a personal agreement last summer, but Inter prevented any potential transfer.
Given the absence of Presenel Kimpembe and the inconsistent play of Danilo Pereira, PSG is lacking at centre-back.
Skriniar seems destined for PSG this summer, but if the French club is ready to pay up, he may leave before then.

Arsenal makes the second bid for Moises Caicedo
According to rumours, Arsenal has submitted a second offer for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo that may be worth up to £70 million.
Before the deadline on Tuesday, Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, wants to add a midfielder. His main objective right now is Caicedo.
Friday saw the rejection of Arsenal’s initial offer for Caicedo. The Gunners made Brighton an offer that was fixed at £60 million.
In a message on his social media pages, Caicedo has made it known that he wants to leave the Amex Stadium. Arsenal has responded by creating a new offer to persuade Brighton to sell.
According to The Daily Mail, the second offer is worth £60 million plus an additional $10 million in add-ons. However, Brighton will probably reject it once more since they want £80 million.
Brighton is fighting tooth and nail to hang onto Caicedo until summer. The club has instructed the 21-year-old not to visit the practice area until Wednesday, when the transfer window closes.
