Arsenal are reportedly very keen on signing Celtic defender, Kieran Tierney this summer. Gunners even saw their opening offer rejected, but that doesn’t seem to lower their confidence.
According to reports from BBC, the London club’s manager, Unai Emery believes that a deal can happen. It’s a very assuring confidence, despite the fact a 15 million pound initial offer was apparently not enough.
However, Gunners seem to believe that it won’t take too much more addition for them before Celtic finally agree. Still, it’s remain to be seen on whether the Scotland giant will really want to part ways with their star left back.
Arsenal themselves looking desperate in improving this squad for next season and Tierney is one of their targets. Emery’s team can’t be splashing outrageous money on transfers, so they must be smart in their moves.
Failing to reach Champions League football for next season, making things more difficult for Arsenal. Not only having a lesser transfer budget, Gunners struggle in competing for high profile targets at times.
Tierney is widely known as a talented left back from Scottish league and getting him might not cost too much. For now, the amount of transfer fee will remain a mystery until Celtic finally agreeing any sort of deal.
