Struggling to make big signings with their relatively tight summer budget, Arsenal opting another path. Gunners opting to go in on a season loan deal and got themselves talented Spanish midfielder, Dani Ceballos.
The Real Madrid man is arriving to Emirates for only one season dry loan without any buy out option. One of the reason for it is because Ceballos remain keen on proving his worth at Los Blancos in the future.
Moreover, Gunners themselves are happy with the deal as it suits their current financial situation. The London club’s boss, Unai Emery is excited with Ceballos arrival, labeling the midfielder as a talented player.
“We’re excited to see Dani join us. He is a talented player with big technical ability, creativity and precision,” Emery explained.”
Arsenal are not the only teams keen on getting Ceballos as there’s also Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan. Emery’s words reportedly puts Gunners ahead of Spurs, while Milan were not keen with just a dry loan agreement.
Rossoneri are hoping to at least have an option to buy agreement for Ceballos, but Madrid refused. The Italian side eventually opting to look elsewhere instead as they don’t want to just help developing a player they can’t fully sign.
