Barcelona’s renovation process continue as the Catalan search for young new talent lead them into 19-year-old, Jean-Clair Todibo of Toulouse.
The highly rated player reportedly is one step closer from moving to Camp Nou as his contract is running next summer and has been talking with clubs this months.
Having plenty other suitors such as Juventus and Manchester City also pursuing him, ESPN FC claim that the defender has chosen the Catalan side as his next club.
El Barca’s director, Eric Abidal, apparently is the key man who eventually convince Todibo to pick Barcelona instead of those other teams.
Personal agreement has been ironed out, but Blaugrana is currently working out on a deal with Touluse to make things happen this month.
Since the player hasn’t been getting playing time recently due to his contract dispute with the club, Barca are working in securing the youngster right away.
However, the main idea still is that Todibo won’t be playing with the Spanish giant immediately as he will be loaned out for six months first.
The Catalan reportedly plan to loan the player for the remaining of this current season to another Spain side, before taking him with them next summer.
