Recent form in all competition (last five matches): WWWLW
Apart from their big loss against The Blues in the first leg, Dynamo have been performing well in recent matches. Alyaksandr Khatskevich’s side picked up four wins and just one defeat from their last five fixtures.
That loss from Chelsea didn’t seem to affect the Ukrainian giant as they won their last match against Arsenal Kiev. Playing at home, Khatskevich will still hope that his side can at least get a win.

The Blues’ form have been pretty good recently, winning three games, drawing one and losing one in their last five. It’s a pretty positive outcome, especially after their Carabao Cup defeat against Man City.
However, Maurizio Sarri’s side last result was only a 1-1 home draw against Wolves. Chelsea will still push hard for a win on the second leg, despite their comfortable 3-0 lead.
There’s some concern regarding the Ukrainian side’s injury issue as they have important players set to be out. Josip Pivaric along with Fran Sol won’t be available for selection this midweek.
Fortunately, there’s still some good news for Dynamo as Benjamin Verbic is set to return into the starting lineup. Following Sol’s absent, Khatskevic will most likely play Denys Harmash up front.
The Blues continue to be relative injury free, aside from long term absentee, Marco Van Ginkel. However, the Dutchman has never play any part with Chelsea ever since the start of this season.
Sarri will be making some rotation so Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek should start in midfield. Hudson-Odoi is set to start again alongside Olivier Giroud and most probably Willian.
Head to Head Records:
The previous meeting between both teams have mostly been dominated by Chelsea with two wins and one draw.
Their latest meeting in Ukraine happened back on October 21, 2015 and it ended in a 0-0 draw.
Having a comfortable lead in the first leg could make Chelsea ease things up for a bit. The tight battle for top four spot in Premier League will be Sarri’s priority.
Dynamo themselves will try to put up a fight, at the very least snatching victory at home. Catching up with 3-0 loss is not impossible, but things don’t look convincing at all for the home side.
Final Score: 1-2
