Recent form in all competition (last five matches) : WWWWW
Gli Azzurri have been putting excellent displays during their group stage of their Euro 2020 qualifier. In their last five matches, Roberto Mancini’s side won all of their games, in relatively comfortable manner.
Their latest match was a slender 2-1 victory over their closest rival in the standings, Finland. Those run of positive results should give Azzurri strong confidence in taking all three points on Saturday.

Ethniki have been in a terrible form throughout their Euro 2020 qualifier as they struggle to pick up points. John van’t Schip’s side last five fixtures ended with four defeats and only able to grab one draw.
Their latest match did end in a 1-1 draw over Liechtenstein, ending their previous four straight defeats. Greece will be hoping that things can finally turn for the better for them as they target at at least a point on Saturday.
Roberto Mancini will have some absentee he must handle in preparing for his squad this weekend. Azzurri will be missing Chiellini, Florenzi, De Sciglio, Sensi, Politano and Emerson who are all injured.
However, the four time World Cup winner still have several top quality players on their side. Mancini could start Belotti as their man man up front with Chiesa and Bernardeschi flanking the Torino man.
Van’t Schip won’t be able to field a full strength squad either with several names absent. Barkas, Tsimikas, Fortounis are still injured while Masouras must complete his suspension.
Leaving out Kostas Manolas, Van’t Schip will be relying on Retsos and Siovas in the center of his team’s defense. Meanwhile, up front, Greece will be counting on Koulouris as their main target man.
Head to Head Records:
In their previous two meetings, Italy have a better record than their opponent with one win and one draw.
Their most recent matchup happened on June 9, 2019 also in their Euro 2020 qualifier, which resulted in a 3-0 away win for Gli Azzurri.
Having the change to secure their place in Euro 2020 finals, Italy will be pushing for all three points. Playing at home should also provide strong confidence for Italy to take down their opponent.
Ethniki will try to give their all in taking something from their away trip this weekend. Italy are certainly favorite to win this weekend, but must remain focus and not taking anything for granted.
Final Score: 3-0
