Adrien Rabiot finally got himself a new team this summer as the Frenchman officially signed with Italian giant, Juventus. The Bianconeri confirming that deal on their social media account, adding that there’s a press conference for tomorrow.
Rabiot is the second player Juventus get via free transfer, after recently capturing Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal. The two midfielder’s arrival could mean that there will be departure soon in that department.
Juve’s success in acquiring the 24-year-old from Paris Saint-Germain was slightly surprising as they were not the favorite at first. The midfielder was strongly linked with Barcelona and Manchester United, but both can’t agree terms with him.
Bianconeri were willing to provide what Rabiot’s want in terms of wages along with signing on fee. Although arriving in a free transfer, Juve reportedly are not getting the midfielder on the cheap at all.
Rabiot’s broke down in relationship with PSG pretty much what triggers him in leaving France and eventually joining the Turin giant. The French international was not keen on signing a new deal with the Ligue 1 champion last summer.
That decision seems to disappoint Thomas Tuchel’s side as the club opting to freeze him in the second half of last season. Despite recent change of director, Rabiot seemingly setting his heart on trying a new adventure with Juventus.
