Italian giant, Juventus are hoping to end their 2018 with a positive result, but it might not be an easy tie as they battle tricky Sampdoria side.
Juventus Looking to Remain Unbeaten in Serie A
Topping the league with an unbeaten record so far in Serie A, Bianconeri will try their best in keeping it, especially since they will play their final game of 2018 at home.
So far this season, in the league, Juve have won all of their home matches, giving that strong confidence that they can continue it against Blucherciati this upcoming Saturday.
Cristiano Ronaldo will most likely play from the start again, after being given a bit of rest on their previous away fixture against Atalanta which ended in a draw.
Playing Sampdoria won’t be easy though as Marco Giampaolo’s men have been in a good run recently, winning four of their last five league fixtures.
Sampdoria Keen On Maintaining Positive Run
Arriving in Turin with a positive run, Giampaolo’s men certainly not keen on giving it away easily, so they will be pushing hard to earn at least a point on Saturday.
Veteran striker, Fabio Quagliarella, will once again be Sampdoria’s vocal point up front with the support of playmaker, Riccardo Saponara.
Quagliarella himself has been in an excellent form of late, scoring eight goals in a row which is also a Serie A record.
Knowing Sampdoria’s offensive approach, this tie should be an exciting one to check out as it promises goals.
