Being constantly rumored to depart from Bayern Munich in the past summer, Robert Lewandowski is still with the Bundesliga giant.
Despite strong claims about his potential move arriving from his agent last May, Lewandowski remains and may even consider to end his career with Niko Kovac’s side.
The former Borussia Dortmund man admitted that things were not god back then, but now with everything is already clear he is very happy to stay at Allianz Arena.
“I feel well here at Bayern, I want to meet expectations. A move is not on my mind. I admit other things were an issue in the summer, but that’s over,” the striker explained. “I don’t know if I’ll be at a top level to play at Bayern towards the end of my career. But it’s definitely an option for me to retire from football at Bayern.”
Lewandowski’s loyalty vows certainly a positive sign for the Bavarian side as they can set their focus right for this season and give their best in every competition.
The 30-year-old himself still has a contract with Bayern until 2021 and by that time he will be almost 33, not an ideal age already for a center forward.
However, as long as he can continue to produce goals for the Bundesliga giant, they will most likely keep him there.
