Philippe Coutinho could be making his way back into English Premier League following recent rumors claiming that Manchester United are keen on signing him.
The ex-Liverpool midfielder hasn’t been getting much regular playing time recently at Barcelona and reports from Spanish media believes that he could be on his way out.
Mundo Deportivo reporting that Man United have been in tough with Coutinho’s representatives asking about the player’s availability.
Seeing that he seems to fall out of Ernesto Valverde’s main squad selection, United believes that they can have a shot in signing the Brazilian international.
Moreover, the media also stating that Blaugrana won’t be opposing to sell Coutinho as long as the prize is right.
Despite investing quite a lot of money on the attacking midfielder, it looks like he hasn’t been producing the performances that Barca were expecting.
Nevertheless, it remain to be seen on whether any deal can be concluded this January, considering the potential complicated financial work that needs to be done.
Not only that, Barca might also need to find a replacement at least someone who they can rely on coming from the bench or should any injury problem hits their first team players.
Man United management themselves must also think wisely before making big money signing, especially if they still want to look for a new manager next summer.
