Italian side AC Milan are making their first attempt in signing Arsenal midfielder, Lucas Torreira. Rossoneri’s new coach, Marco Giampaolo, is very keen on reuniting with his former player at Sampdoria next season.

In an attempt to satisfy their new tactician, Milan management apparently make their attempt in signing the Uruguayan. According to reports from Italy, Rossoneri are proposing two year loan deal along with obligation to buy fee worth 38 million Euro.

The Italian side will also pay around 5-8 million Euro for the initial loan fee towards the Gunners. However, according to the media its very likely that Arsenal won’t accept that type of offer.

The main reasoning for that potential rejection is because Unai Emery’s team are also in need of fund. Their failure in reaching Champions League spot means there’s less transfer money for Arsenal this season.

Milan themselves despite having a financially capable owner must tone down their spending because of Financial Fair Play warnings. That’s why Rossoneri are offering a long loan deal with obligation to pay as it can help them in their FFP problems.

Rossoneri remain confident with their attempt though as they believe Torreira is keen on returning to Italy. The midfielder personally is struggling to settle in England and welcome the idea of playing for Milan under Giampaolo.
