AC Milan reportedly are preparing to sign Poland international forward, Kryztof Piatek, as a potential replacement for Gonzalo Higuain should the Argentinian leaves this January.

Rumors in Italy are suggesting that Rossoneri’s management have been making contacts with Genoa to make a deal for Piatek.

Furthermore, reports also claiming that there shouldn’t be much issue in finding an agreement for the 23-year-old forward as he is keen to go.

However, any possible agreement can only happen if Higuain do decide to part ways with the Rossoneri this month and sign with The Blues.

For now, nothing official has happened as just yet with all parties reportedly still trying to work things out.

Initially Higuain’s potential move is not an ideal situation this January, seeing his status at Milan, which is still currently on loan from Juventus.

Although Rossoneri can make the move permanent next summer, that doesn’t change the fact that technically any new deal for the Argentinian must involve Juve as well.

This situation making the deal supposedly isn’t easy to make, but with rumors saying that the player himself has requested a move, all parties might try to make things happen.

As for Piatek himself, he has been one of the revelation in Serie A this season, already scoring 13 goals in the league for Genoa.
