Italian side, Napoli, are not willing to lose their star defender Kalidou Koulibaly next season. I Partenopei reportedly keep on receiving important offers from top teams for their center back.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, both Manchester United and Real Madrid have come again with big offers recently. Those teams reportedly offering close to 100 million Euro for Koulibaly’s service next summer.
However, Napoli are not budging as they have no intention in selling their prize asset even for that amount of cash. It was not the first time that I Partenopei have to reject massive offers as similar situation happened last summer.
Despite recent unpleasant racism attacks that have been bothering him in Italy, the defender himself is still enjoying his time at Naples. That’s probably why Carlo Ancelotti’s side are very keen on keeping their star player.
Latest reports also claiming that Napoli already agreed on a new contract extension with the center back until June 2024. That latest deal will make Koulibaly potentially getting a massive seven million Euro per season.
It remain to be seen on whether Partenopi can really keep their 27-year-old center back for another season or more at San Paolo. That’s why the Senegalese international’s future remain an interesting one to check out next summer.
