Having been linked with a potential move for Hirving Lozano in recent days, Napoli’s mission won’t get any easier as they will be facing tough competition.
Reports in Italy are now suggesting that Spanish giant, Barcelona are also strongly considering to pounce on the PSV Eindhoven winger.
The 23-year-old is valued at 40 million Euro by PSV, a number that apparently still hasn’t been agreed by the Italian outfit.
Napoli reportedly are only willing to cash out 25 to 30 million Euro plus adding a player, but that doesn’t seem pleasing enough for the Dutch side.
However, with reports of Barcelona’s interest, the Partenopei might eventually upped their offer if they are really serious in snatching the Mexican international.
Aside from Barca, there’s also reports of other interested teams on the Mexican international such as Chelsea along with AC Milan.
However, the media seems to believe that for now Barcelona are the main threat for Carlo Ancelotti’s side dream in getting Lozano.
It’s a curious report indeed, seeing that not long ago, Ancelotti stated that he is not expecting any signing in January, unless someone leaves.
Still, Napoli could easily plan Lozano’s deal for next summer, as they want to beat much bigger interest that can arrive next summer.
