Following the departure of some important players, Atletico Madrid could be losing another one this summer. According to reports from ESPN FC, it’s goal keeper, Jan Oblak, who reportedly looking for a move from Diego Simeone’s squad.
Oblak’s reason to leave seemingly because of his concern over the Madrid based team’s competitiveness next season. Seeing the departure of Lucas Hernadez, Diego Godin, Filipe Luis, Juanfran and possible Antoine Griezmann, the Slovenian has a case.
The 26-year-old previously stating his wish to see his current club keeping a high ambition every season. Oblak reportedly is currently considering his options on whether to stay or leave Atletico.
The Slovenian international keeper has been attracting many top clubs attention in the past. Currently, rumors claiming there are at least two clubs that are targeting the shot stopper.
Manchester United along with Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly competing for Oblak’s signature. United look to lose David De Gea this summer, so a new top keeper should arrive.
