I Neroverdi still struggling to put on a consistently winning run so far in 2019 as they only pick up one victory from their last five games. Roberto De Zerbi’s side latest three points arrived two weeks ago as they beat Cagliari at home.
However, last weekend, Sassulo failed to maintain that positive result as they only grabbed a point against Genoa. Hosting Juve won’t be an easy match for De Zerbi’s side, but they will give their all on Sunday.

After a convincing start earlier this year, Bianconeri starting to experience slight dip in terms of results. Massimiliano Allegri’s men failed to win their last two fixtures, one in Coppa Italia and another in Serie A.
Juve fell in a shock Coppa elimination after being battered by Atalanta 3-0 in Bergamo. Last weekend, Bianconeri still fail to win their game, though they did slightly better by getting a point at home against Parma.
De Zerbi doesn’t have too many absentees to deal with aside from Alfred Duncan, who is suspended for Sunday. Another player confirmed to be missiong out is Marlon who hasn’t recovered from his injury.
Khouma Babacar set to lead the line up front along with Domenico Berardi and Fili Djuricic. In midfield, Stefano Sensi is expected to orchestrate Sassuolo’s play with his exquisite passing skills.
The Turin giant still facing problems at the back with injuries for Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonuccia and Giorgio Chiellini. That situation puts Martin Caceres back in the starting line up partnering with Daniele Rugani.
There doesn’t seem to be any absentees issue in midfield with everyone reportedly available including Sami Khedira and Emre Can. Douglas Costa is still questionable up front, while Juan Cuadrado is still not available.
Head to Head Records:
This match up have been mostly dominated by the Turin giant as in their last five meetings, they won all of them.
The latest meeting at Citta de Tricolore happened last season and resulted in a 3-1 victory for Bianconeri.
Although Juve are yet to suffer any defeat in Serie A, but their recent small blip brings a slight concern that a loss is on its way. Nevertheless, Allegri’s side still have enough talent up front to create havoc for any teams including Sassuolo.
The home team always manage to put out a strong battle against top teams, but their lack of quality sometimes hinders them. I Neroverdi will give their best shot though this weekend, knowing Juve are still struggling at the back.
Final Score 2-2
