Emerging as a star player for Croatian side, Dinamo Zagreb, talented Spanish winger, Dani Olmo, admitted that he is not closing door on a potential return to Barcelona.
Olmo himself is a former Barca youngster who was sent to Dinamo as part of the deal for Alen Halilovic’s move towards the Spanish giant back in 2015.
In a weird turn of events, Halilovic himself has now been shipped out of the Catalan outfit and the 20-year-old Spanish might have a shot of returning.
Rumors in Spain suggesting that Barcelona have been making contacts to see the possibility of acquiring their former youngster back.
Olmo himself confessed that he won’t rule out that possibility although he never regretted his move away from the Spanish giant as it has helped him grow as a player.
“I have no regrets that I left the club, it was a very tough decision but it was a big leap for me and I have adapted really well,” the 20-year-old stated. “What player would want to rule out signing for the club, we will see what happens in the future but I don’t want to close any doors.
Still relatively young, Olmo might prefer to continue his current work or play where he can get regular playing time, something that he might not be getting yet should he returns to Barcelona.
